Step Global is an international charity operated by OrthoMedics that provides braces and artificial limbs to amputees and physically disabled people that do not have access to medical care. 
Many previously used Orthotic and Prosthetic devices are returned or donated to us each year. We either refurbish these devices or harvest reusable parts from them to create custom devices for people without access to Orthotic and Prosthetic services. Step Global makes 2-3 trips per calendar year to Nicaragua, a country where access to assistive technology is very limited. During each trip we provide devices to dozens of individuals.
