Ryan Brenden, CP
Certified Prosthetist
Ryan is a graduate of Pierce High School and Wayne State College. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biology at WSC before entering the prosthetic program at Century College in White Bear Lake, MN. While attending Century, he interned at Shriners Hospital for Children in Minneapolis for one summer. After graduating, he completed his residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Soon after completing his education and training, he was hired as a manager of Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has practiced in Grand Island, Kearney and North Platte locations since 2003, until joining OrthoMedics and dedicating himself to the Norfolk area.
An avid golfer and board member of the Nebraska Amputee Golf Association, Brenden has worn an above-knee prosthesis since age 4 due to a birth defect.
